Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Levenware LLC (“Levenware,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use Birvie, our live drone streaming application, or visit birvie.com.

By using Birvie, you acknowledge the practices described here. The features you use determine which information is processed.

Information we process

Account and contact information

If you create an account or contact support, we may process information such as your email address, account identifier, and the content of your request. Anonymous or guest use may still create a technical user identifier.

Location information

When you grant permission and use location-dependent features, Birvie may process precise or approximate location. A broadcast location may be associated with live or recorded content so that the stream can be displayed on a map. Review your location choice before broadcasting and avoid publishing sensitive locations.

Content and broadcasts

We process video, audio, stream titles, thumbnails, and related metadata that you choose to broadcast or upload. Content intended for public discovery may be visible to other users and may be distributed to third-party streaming destinations you select.

Device, usage, and diagnostics

We may process device identifiers, product interactions, app version, crash information, performance data, and similar technical details needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve Birvie.

How we use information

• Provide authentication, drone connection, broadcast, playback, map, and discovery features.
• Deliver a stream to Birvie and to compatible destinations selected by the broadcaster.
• Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app and website.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
• Comply with law and enforce our rights, safety rules, and applicable terms.

Service providers and third-party destinations

We use service providers for functions such as cloud hosting, authentication, database storage, video delivery, analytics, maps, and crash diagnostics. They may process information on our behalf under their own terms and data protection commitments.

If you simulcast to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, or another RTMP destination, that destination processes the broadcast under its own privacy policy. Your use of DJI hardware or software is also subject to DJI’s applicable terms and policies. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties.

Public content

Live and recorded streams, profile information, titles, and locations that you choose to make public may be viewed, shared, or recorded by others. Do not include personal information, private conversations, sensitive locations, or images of people when you do not have a lawful basis to broadcast them.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of data and whether your stream or account remains active. Public copies distributed to third-party platforms are controlled by those platforms.

Your choices

You can control app permissions in iOS or iPadOS settings, choose whether to use optional location and external-destination features, and stop a broadcast from within the app. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

Children

Birvie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online system or live broadcast is completely secure. Keep account credentials and RTMP stream keys private, and rotate a key if it may have been exposed.

International processing

Birvie and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date on this page and provide additional notice when appropriate.
